Does this journal satisfy my funder?
Pick a journal and a funder. We check live DOAJ licensing data against that funder's own published open-access policy — a signal to save you reading two policy documents, not a legal determination.
What this does and does not check
This compares a journal's DOAJ-recorded licence and self-archiving policy against each funder's own published open-access requirement. It does not check transformative agreements, institutional Read-and-Publish deals, the Rights Retention Strategy for self-archiving your accepted manuscript, or article-level exceptions — any of these can make a journal compliant even when this tool says otherwise. Always confirm against your specific grant terms before submitting.
